You mean team france and three minutes of Bilal not taking a shot take on team Germany? If I squint I won’t be able to tell which one is Bonga
And I don’t mean to hate on Bilal I practically watch all the games because of him and I root for team france just so he can have more chances. I’ve been saying though, I saw the moment he lost the starting position because offensively in the half court he’s just standing at the corners and lifts a little bit and even when he gets the ball he just moves it. France was playing four on five on offense. Even when he’s open they are not hitting him to shoot it. I’ve seen players like Fournier force up shots instead of kicking it to an open Bilal. I don’t even think I remember him actually taking one shot this tournament. The coach told him they are sagging off of him and he should punish that. After that he was off the starters. I’ve said cause of how inactive he is on offense, you’ll find the star scorer on the other team will guard him on defense and rest. Patty Mills, SGA…
By no means is this his final form. I’m glad he doesn’t look scrawny anymore, his body has filled out, he gets to play against elite comp, and we get to see that this aspect of his game is what now needs the most work. It’s just my observation. Watch this game and see how it goes and who guards him and where he operates from.
