The Mavs just focused on offense this offseason! Who in the hell are Naji Marshall,and Quentin Grimes? They can’t play D!! Klay has went from one of the best 2 way players in the history of the league to Steve Nash on defense!
We listed Grimes and Marshall as players who can come in and be solid defenders. For Marshall the worry is way more about whether the shooting last season was real on a small sample size.

Lively and Gafford are better rim protectors than anyone GSW had and Kyrie and Luka are both better defenders than Steph…Klay is also not a long way behind Jones Jr, who only became a plus defender AFTER PJ and Gafford arrived plus he’ll go from being #1 defender to #3 or #4
