That's right USA keep letting Lebron James playing the Lakers scheme on the US squad,
Stats padding all the way to a narrow victory.
The half court game of pick & roll executed by Jokic and Bogdanovic is not defendable, not even in NBA. The other way to win is to run fast break all game long (or at least make the 2nd unit run) like the first dream team and hoping to tire out the Jokic, but Kerr shrank the rotation & slowed down the entire offense, duh.
Thank Goodness you’re not the coach Charles. And this is not 1992.
The problem is not the 11th man not playing. The problem is why is Jason Tatum the 11th man. Cause Anthony edwards had a great year and Booker can get hot amongst the best but neither is better than Jason Tatum

Tatum game is not for the Olympics he is a nba player who shoots a lot and get a lot of free throws he is not going to get that in the Olympics
They might not be 40pts better than the competition but they are at worst 20-25pts better. And they don’t have to chase talent, they had to get a big man because the U.S. doesn’t develop bigs anymore, because everyone wants to play small, particularly Steve Kerr. Warriors fans can attest to their frustration with his lineups during the season so this is nothing new.

Playing 2k taught me you can run a deep lineup with the proper rotations. Some players are good against certain teams, it’s good to have some depth in the lineup so you can adjust your game to fit each team
If you are not going to play 12 players then only take 10 players. This is a shame that 2 players are away from their family just to sit the bench.

Last night Team USA $406,135,595 annual salary vs Serbia $66,307,350 between Jokic and Bogdanovic and who knows what the other Serbian players make. This should not have been this close or are NBA players just overpaid?
