Any other year I’d be rooting for team USA.. But the narrative of being a rookie and spearheading an Olympic victory is way too tantalizing of an NBA sales pitch. I actually think it would help recruit talent to this Spurs team.

Nope. He’s my favorite player but in the Olympics fuck all other countries contenders. Wemby getting 50-25-25-15blk-10stl would be dope in a loss by 30 though.
I’m not going to be too upset either way. My best case would be if he dropped 50,15, and 5 in a loss for an epic silver medal.
Realistically, I hope he just has a great game. I think he will be more in his comfort zone against the Americans who play more of the NBA style and less of the euro league style.
