Watched 95% of the game.
Sloppy on both ends. Lots of fouls called (correct or not). A’ja couldn’t buy a basketball early on. France got desperate towards the end and if they didn’t airball 2(?) of their final 3 pointers, they might’ve unseated the US. France’s #15 Williams got a bit unlucky with the KD on the line moment but it was a desperation heave, and was 1 literally about half a foot away from the miracle.
Very dramatic finish at least, and actually made for an interesting way to end the Olympics overall.
edit: need to shoutout to Plum and Cooper for the 4 ice in the veins free throws. Any miss and it could’ve been a different story today.

Unusual sloppy play by USA especially after beating Australia the way they did. I know defensive intensity and pressure played a role, but I was shocked how bad they played the last five minutes.
