Bulls would beat them in 94.π On the other hand, when the Rockets added Clyde Drexler to go with Sam Cassell, Robert Horry, Kenny Smith & Mario Elie, would beat them in 95.
For the record, Clyde complemented Hakeem the way Kobe complemented Shaq. In addition, Hakeem was more versatile than him. Finally, the Rockets had too many perimeter shooters for the Bulls to try to stop. I'll say it again, Bulls would beat them in 94. However, the Rockets would dethrone them in 95. π
I think that rockets team matches up with them better than every team from that era. Hakeem is the most underrated player of all time imo but I think Pippen and Rodman would still be too much
Everyone acts like the Bulls were a one-trick pony … Lol. Pippen was first team All-NBA that season, Grant averaged 15 & 11 and was second All-Defense, plus they had Kukoc finally. They won 55 games without Jordan. And Jackson is coaching circles around Rudy T in a series. Bulls in 6 as usual if Jordan doesn't retire.
Magic wasnt there after 91 i thought so what was his excuse for 92 and 93 why couldnt they of made it and won it in those 2 years if that was his defense of his team
Maxwell OFFENSIVELY would've needed to play like the best version of John Starks every game Horry and Thorpe would've need to take advantage of the power forward spot being vacant since Horace was on the Magic and Rodman wasn't there in 1993-94 yet
phil jackson said they didnt wanna see hakeem. literally no one on that team could stop hakeem. rockets were 7-1 against mj in the regular season in the last few years prior to that
He says Hakeem will stop all the going to the rim & dunking, but I just watched another clip from this same episode of Kevin Johnson living in the lane, going to the rim, and dunking vs that Rocket squad.MJ would've done them worse.
Rocket champions are as good as every others champions, I like Jordan and Bulls, but injuries or retirements are parts of the games. Even bubble or shorten championships still as good, except if only half of the teams participate.
In 94 bulls still had Horace Grant so in 94 with Peak MJ and they got Kukoc i would of taken Bulls in 7. In 95 with no Grant and no Rodman yet i would of taken Rockets in 5. Plus winning 5 titles in a row is about impossible. Bulls were too small at that point. But in 96 with Rodman yes the bulls would of beat the brakes off of anybody including the Rockets. Nobody was beating Bulls in 96. So yes and no.
Nawβ¦ yβall ainβt be no mike not with that squad but it might have went to seven which would have been his first final to go to seven to beat them not with MJ on the other team and prime Scottie Pippen
Jordans the goat but its to the point where i think everyone really forgets how everything played out. As crazy as it sounds the goat geta over hyped. The stars aligned beautifully for him tonget those two 3 peats. Could never get past magic and bird and never had to face prime Dream.
I think teams or at least 1 team wouldβve adjusted to the bulls roster to beat them at least once or twice in the 90s, like I have a hard time believing they would have did a 10 peat!! Thatβs just straight up crazyβ¦the whole league might as well retireπ€£ I give them 4-5 peat at best but overall 7-8 championships out of 10 had not Jordan retired !!

I'm sure that's what all dudes who never played MJ in the finals would say π π
Bulls lost to Orlando in 95.
Rockets win in 94. But 95 Bulls come back with revenge. It would of been a great finals.

91' bulls smoked the Lakers
They would've beaten Chicago w/out Horace. Chicago would've won that first one.

MJ would have 8 straight championship in that era! That's how dominant MJ was!
From 91-93 The Dream was 5-1 against Jordan…..
It's all about matchups
There's no guarantee that Mike's Bulls woulda beat Pat's Knicks or Shaq's Magic.
Ok after 94-95 what happened to the rockets they was at home watching jordan collect chips
phil jackson said they didnt wanna see hakeem. literally no one on that team could stop hakeem. rockets were 7-1 against mj in the regular season in the last few years prior to that
Cut it out Sam
If MJ didn't gamble on basketball might have found out π Stren protected Jordan
I was done at "did jall woulda beat".
The rockets would've got their asses kicked like everyone else πππ
Y'all couldn't beat the Lakers π€ meanwhile Bulls beat the Lakers they couldn't beat
Mike ain't letting nobody win shit in them 90s. STOP IT
Bulls in 6…

Why didn't they repeat in 96

during the first bulls 3 peat the rockets went 5-1 versus the bulls in the regular season.
It would have been some amazing finals for sure!
