Tv girl : what’s your best memory of the olympics? Is it your medals? Wemby : its among it of course. What really got me was the first natuonal anthem in Lille arena it was a lot of emotions.
TV girl : A special passion, is it the same for you Gaby?
Gaby : yeah same, every anthem before the matches gave us a lot of energy and we looked forward for those moments.
Tv girl : so Victor you are vice-champion after an historical match, USA seemed to be reachable but that was without counting on Steph Curry.
Wemby : we can be proud to say that team USA needed such an incredible performance from him in order to beat us. Its not a loss in which i have a lot of regrets, ive seen worse (laughs)
Tv girl : at the end of the match, a lot of emotions for you and it was difficult to withhold your tears then there is this image of KD, one of your idols in your youth, who came see you and appease you. What did he tell you ? If its not too secret.
Wemby : Clearly its my favorite player and my icon growing up and there were the calssic encouraging, congratulations and i clearly made him understand i wanted to learn from him and still one of two of his secret techniques.

Gaby : of course there is disappointment but i dont have any regrets because its already incredible for us to have come this far and were this close to the USA. We gave it our all and did our best. Im proud of what we did.
Tv girl : For both of you, once disappointment is gone there is still this satisfaction of getting silver medal for France. We saw you Victor at club France with the clapping. Did you manage to savir this medal?
Victor : hmmm yeah… yeah and no cause this doeant satisfy me. Its still a great achievement especially for young players but i have this unfinished feeling for at least another 4 years

Gaby : Yes, even though we didnt better than Tokyo we finish on a loss so it feels weird and just the fait that we came so close hurts a bit if im being honest but im still happy if what we have achieved.

Gaby: it motivated me, im not sure you saw, but i often looked at their corner and it gave me a bit extra energy. I didnt want to disappoint them and it given pleasure tobsee us all so close

Wemby : of course, we didnt have a chance to come see them all competition. I was surprised at how good they played and how they were able to step up to this occasion. I feel like this loss was played on different criteria than us guys and more on the physical challenge.

Wemby : Sadly know we have affairs to take care of on the other continent
Gaby : Yeah sadly we cant be there, i have obligations but will warch on the tv
Tv girl : Quite a shame it would have been the occasion to experience the extreme public cheering which elwvated you during the competition
