Justin, Brook Lopez was unplayable against the Suns in 2021 finals. We saw Chris Paul torch Brook Lopez. We saw in 2023 Jimmy Butler hitting bucket after bucket while Brook Lopez was just eating Cheetos on the bench. In 2022 against the Celtics Brook couldn't buy a bucket. As we speak, Brook is overpaid. Jonas Valanciunas is making 17 million dollars and he's averaging more points than Brook. He's also more efficient than Brook. Jonas Valanciunas also gives defenders problems. Marcus Smart is getting paid 19 million dollars. So why is Brook Lopez getting paid 24 million dollars?
The Bucks need to get younger and Brook can go get that friendly deal elsewhere. Also Brook Lopez does sit is near the basket and block a few shots. The Bucks could've gotten Jonas Valanciunas for way cheaper. There are 2-3 dudes in the league that can do a better job than Brook Lopez for way less money.
You guys are busy campaigning for dudes to get deals with the Bucks but when the Bucks fail you guys join the fake NBA media in trashing Giannis that Giannis can't get it done when ppl like Brook Lopez become unplayable in the playoffs. Why was Brook Lopez on the bench when Jimmy Butler was hitting those shots? I'll wait.
