    If Kidd and the rest of the Mavericks coaches learned anything from the NBA finals lose to the Celtics in five it must be that Luka's health has to be protected. His usage needs to reduced so does Kyries so, Dinwiddie's and Grime's minutes should be around twelve each per game. The goal for every year going forward is to get Luka, Kyrie, and Klay as close to 100% strength and health at the start of the playoffs as possible. Luka's and Kyrie's and Klay's minutes should be limited to under 30 per game. The Mavericks should try to build up a ten-man rotation with a lot of different line ups in second and third quarters. And depending on the score in the middle of the fourth quarters, with a lead play a more defensive line up and rest Luka and Kyrie, or if behind play Luka, Kyrie, and Klay to close. The real challenge for Kidd will be to manage the line ups and get every player some meaningful minutes. See what combinations work and also, who is hot from three.
