    7 rings:

    2 — Rockets
    3 — LAKERS
    2 — Spurs

    More rings than Michael Jordan.

If I needed a role player to hit a shot, I’d take him or Fisher

For me he should be a hall of famer in one way or another. If I live long enough to have grand kids and still have my faculties about me he’s one of the players who I’ll never forget and will tell them about.

Guys like Mitch Richmond, Ralph Sampson and even Bernard King might have more individual accolades but players like them have come and gone and you only really remember them when they’re specifically brought up for trivia or some other reason. Horry figuratively speaking, moved mountains in the NBA, very few players determined the outcomes of seasons when the stakes were at their absolute highest like he did. Even in Houston he played a small but still integral role on those teams.

Far more so than Richmond did on the Lakers for his one ring example.

My left and right hand robert horry

My second favorite Laker all time. The first of the many clutch shots that I think of: that bounce, catch and shoot against the Kings was amazing. The minute the camera showed me the ball bouncing right to Horry I knew he would hit the shot. Because that’s what he does, strikes daggers when the stakes are highest.

I still rock his Laker jersey all the time. When he played with the Spurs in the playoffs against the Lakers I merely covered his name with painters tape.

Also known as Cheap Shot Rob. He provided the most clutch hip check in history. Causing suspension for some Suns players

  9. You forgot my favorite stat, the best-aimed towel in history.
