  1. I disagree with Kenyon…Jones will tremendously help the Suns. The offense will be more efficient because that's what he does best. He's a true point guard. Book and KD can worry more about scoring and other aspects of the game. The Suns allow won 50 games without the trio playing majority of the games together without a true pg and a weak system.

  2. You can tell Kenyon didn’t watch a second of phoenix last year. They were an all time bad offensive team in the clutch and 4th quarters. Straight up awful, and they couldn’t run offense. They needed someone to handle and make plays who doesn’t use a ton of possessions because of their high usage stars. Also book and KD are great off ball players who coach Bud will actually use creatively to score, not just hand them the ball to iso.

This was by far the dumbest take Kenyon ever had on this show. Plus anyone who can’t understand how Tyus massively helps the suns with their flaws is telling on themselves really really hard about their basic understanding of ball.

Now there’s no guarantee they actually win anything because injuries probably destroy them and they still have no frontcourt, but no one who watched the suns poop their pants on offense in 4th quarters all last year thinks this move is meaningless.

  3. Also Beal needs to be their 6th man. He needs the ball in his hands and hasn’t been a good off ball player for 5+ years now. Super overrated catch and shoot guy too, he’s a ball in the hands player…and that role isn’t needed next to Book and KD, especially since Beal is crap on D and not a playmaker.

  4. It makes way more sense to have tyus Jones at the pg and let book come off screens plus Kd can do pick and roll with him as well

  5. The comment section seem to know more than a NBA player 😂. They won’t respect and appreciate this PG.

He will regret taking that pay cut

  6. For someone to average 12 assists with less talent have Beal booker and Kd n be seen to average LESS THAN 7 ASSISTS??? IS CRAZY

  7. This illustrates how some guys just hear or look at a lineup assume it will work.

Meanwhile K-mart thought about the effectiveness. In the 4th quarter Jones would be useless

  8. I must be smoking rock bc ain’t these the same niggas that said they need a point guard and pointed out tyus jones????

  9. This suns team is got slight better booker position is shooting guard position better Klay Thompson role he is point guard suns don’t have a true point guard

  10. Don’t underestimate tyus jones he solid point guard booker will finally score easier shoot off screens catch shoot in wings and corners and kd will play his role

  11. It's always the dude who argues every point like his brain dead. Kenyon Martin, Keshawn Johnson, Cris Carter. The most argumentative mf's in sports talk…Also, Jason Whitlock…

  12. Gil and Kenyon were Hella wrong on this one, Kobe outlet it to Fisher, LBJ And DWade outlet it to Chalmers, and even Jordan outlet it to Armstrong and Paxson. Neither Booker, Durant, nor Beal are point guards

  13. The Suns problem was the point guard position last season. They have Tyus Jones and Monte Morris now. I think this works out in the Suns favor.

  14. Tyrus has one of the best assist to turnover ratios in the nba his phenoix don’t have a great defensive team but this helps the iq of the team n cuts turnovers if he’s the legit point like cp3 was

  15. K-Mart couldn't be more wrong. Booker had Chris Paul and they went to the finals. No Tyus Jones isn't Chris Paul. but I watched every Suns game last year and they sucked in the 4th cause they turned the ball over A. LOT… Just getting them in their sets and putting them in their spots to get buckets will go a long way. If they want to be a contender I think Beal has to come off the bench. Beal, Morris, Grayson, Bol, and Plumlee could be a really good bench. Tyus is an excellent pick up, so is Morris.

Also they had a good draft. Oso Ighodara or Ryan Dunn may crack the lineup. Dunn clamps man. This guy is 6'7 seven foot wingspan. Switches. Just no jumper

  16. I'm with Nick. They don't need a scoring point guard. They need a point guard to set up the offense for the 3 scorers
