Tatum and Brown are pretty good. Giannis and Dame. Durant and Booker. Jokic and Murray. Are any of these pairs better than Embiid-Maxey?? Nobody knows. We need to see how they play this year.

Jokic and Murray, If we are being honest Jokic has offense on Embiid and Embiid has Defense on Jokic. I think with recent success you can give a slight edge to Jokic. The way that Maxey absolutely clears the fuck out of who Murray has been as if late is not even really a discussion in my opinion.
Tatum and Brown, their duo is very good but neither are MVP caliber and I feel really unsure how Tatum will play this season because he has been in a 5 month slump.
Giannis and Dame, I think embiid is just better than Giannis and Dame is better than Maxey but Dame is Regressing and Maxey is heavily improving every offseason
Durant and Booker, Similar with how I feel about Giannis. I think at this stage in his career Embiid is just better overall than KD, Booker has had a very nice public perception change this Olympics and I wouldn’t be surprised if he is better than Maxey this year.
As far as how the duos play off eachother. I think Maxey and Embiid have the highest ceiling right behind Giannis and Dame as far as production from a duo. I think if Giannis and Dame figure it out playing with eachother that’s a scary duo but the team around them is extremely limiting to their potential success as of now. As far as team success with a big duo Maxey and Embiid are right behind Tatum and Brown just because the celtics are truly stacked top to bottom. However I think all things considered the Maxey and Embiid duo is ARGUABLY 1a / 1b depending on what you are grading duos on but I can also see a world where they are the 2nd or 3rd best in the league just depending on how a few players come out this season. Which it doesnt matter at the end if the day, the finals are decided by the other guys and I really like the others we have this year.
