Isaiah Joe, based on the way this sub talks about him sometimes

Has to be one of the fan favourites that in reality weren’t that good. The Homie, Mudman, Rocco, TJ…

We all vastly overrate their basketball ability. A good stretch and a bit of passion will get you a long way here.

I’d vote Dario, there was so much talk about him coming over for years, all the potential, etc. but realistically he was never even a decent starter in the NBA, much less a star in the making. There were times where he was portrayed like one, even though we can now see that he tops as an okay role player off the bench.

how the fuck is Moses Malone underrated?????

Lookup “greatest sixers of all time” on google.

from the top results, Moses Malone is ranked 3, 4, 4, 3, 5, and 4.

Not really much room to be higher rated than 3rd – 4th greatest player in franchise history, A.I, Wilt, and Dr J are the only 3 who regularly get ranked higher than him lol

We have to consider saving Simmons for “most wasted potential”

  5. EMVPIID

    Darryl Dawkins.

Hate to do that to a late great but he’s brought up with all time greats on the 76ers.

In 7 years in Philly he averaged 11.2 PPG, 6.7 RPG AND 1.4 BPG.

His best year in Philly was 14.7 PPG, 8.7 RPG and 1.8 BPG

Ranker has him as the 12th best Sixer of all time, Bleacher Report has him as the 20th best Sixer of all time and Danny Pommell for NBC Philly had him as the 15th best sixer of all time.

    Jerry Stackhouse or Shaun Bradley

Attention sixers nation, you can not choose Tobias for “most overrated”, “worst” and “most annoying”. You gotta pick one.

  9. thomasthethothumb

Thybulle. As much as he had flashy defensive plays, close outs, and those blocks looked great, dude is average at best on ball defense

this shit is so stupid. andrew toney was the answer to the first one. i think he even got the most votes

who the fuck is underrating moses malone?

    this is already trash

I would have went George McGinnis for most underrated.

  12. daveypop75

Mike Scott should be on that list.
I know nobody thought much of him as player but I have zero idea why he had a fan club…

Please don’t do this. This is the worst post on r/nba that I have to see in my feed EVERY GOD DAMN DAY. So fucking lame..zero creativity

2024 trade deadline Pat Bev. That trade had a ton of this fanbase in shambles

Chet walker should have been underrated. He’s a HOFer part of a championship team and most Sixers fans don’t know who he even is. Dawkins is probably the most overrated still a legend though. Best should be Wilt and worst should definitely be Al Horford.

Andrew Bynum. Hear me out: he was going to be the guy that fixed everything. The only thing that he fixed was his hair. I blame the Drs that approved the deal, the rehab people and him – for pissing me off every time I saw him on the bench, and for all the times he didn’t even bother to be on the bench. A screw job.

  17. Jako21530

Ben Simmons. People were literally anointing him as the next LeBron James. Remember the trade talks of keep Ben or Embiid? Dude had us delusional about his talent, then exposed himself during the ATL game. It has to be him.

How is Moses underrated? His number is retired

  19. m4rcus267

most the modern players havent played on the team long enough to be considered sixers to me. I always thought Thybulle, Reed, Harris were overrated. Ob

I feel as though we have zero overrated players. If it’s gonna be anyone then it’s gotta be saric, Simmons or McConnell.
