Free agent wing Javonte Green is finalizing a one-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, per league sources. Strong addition for Pelicans’ depth as Green averaged 12.2 points in 25.6 minutes per night across nine games to close last season with the Bulls.

If Pels could have traded some of their wing depth for a good big, this would’ve been a GREAT offseason. Still optimistic.. but going into the season sorta hesitant about our ceiling.
Just what we needed, a wing!
Interesting signing. To me indicates another move is about to be made. My guess is a BI trade in the works or for some reason beyond me we are going to waive Matt Ryan. We have consistently operated with an open roster spot until the deadline so signing a 15th player now is unusual.
Bulls fan here, Javonte is an incredible bench player who brings hustle and focus on both ends of the floor even on limited minutes. There’s a reason our announcers always liked to say “There’s 5 Javontes on the floor,” this guy brings 110% to every play.
Treat him well
7’ wingspan is nice, especially without having dyson off the bench. Makes it seem more reasonable to me, but still not as important as more depth in the frontcourt
Close enough welcome back naji Marshall
I like this guy. We needed a dirty work guy and he’s that
