Re-Grading EVERY Move By Pat Riley & The Miami Heat This NBA Offseason

The Miami Heat didn’t make a ton of moves this NBA Offseason. Pat Riley re-signed some NBA Free Agents like Haywood Highsmith, Kevin Love, and Thomas Bryant. Miami also added Kel’el Ware and Pelle Larsson through the 2024 NBA Draft. Nic Rohloff revisits the Miami Heat offseason and grades every move:
– Kel’el Ware drafted 15th overall in the NBA Draft gets a B+ grade. Ware is projected to be the backup center for Bam Adebayo on the Miami Heat roster. Pelle Larsson, 44th pick, earned a B grade after a strong performance for the 2024 Miami Heat Summer League team.
– Thomas Bryant re-signing with the Heat was the most head scratching move from Pat Riley, and it makes no sense still!
– Kevin Love re-signed with the Heat for a decreased role. Nic grades the Love re-signing at a C.
– Pat Riley brought back Haywood Highsmith on a 2-year, $11 MM deal which was the best move of the NBA Offseason for the Heat according to Nic.
