KG is pulling a Shaq by over criticizing Giannis (Shaq does it with only centers: Joker, Embid, Dwight) while trying to protect his own legacy in respect to all time power forwards.

Even though I hate ranking by positions AND I don’t agree with Duncan not being a center, Timmy is basically stamped as the best PF of all time. Although Dirk, Malone and Barkley have always been in the conversation, KG was for the most part, #2 in those rankings.

To me, once Giannis won his first title and added finals MVP to all of his regular season MVPs, he passed KG as far as prime/peak and snatched his spot in the rankings.

KG had a long career of excellence so I can understand him still being considered #2 for careers but only until Giannis gets a few more seasons under his belt which is the only reason I could possibly come up with that KG would make such a ridiculous hot take that Giannis would be 4th in the East.

Kevin Garnett is the second best player mentioned in the title of this post

Consciously or unconsciously, KG is trying to protect his legacy. Deep down, he knows that Giannis is better than him. Giannis has already made two more First Team All-NBAs than KG, and has more top 5 MVP finishes.

Who cares. The media hasn’t been on our side for awhile.

Giannis just came off the most dominant and most efficient on highest volume statistical scoring season of all time and this is what KG had to say lol.

    Foh.

I like that most people in r nba didn’t get the bait from KG.

Stupid opinions to stay relevant and extend the lifeline of their streams.

Avoid giving clicks to people that say deliberately crap on the Internet.
