Day 8- most wasted potential
Tatum wins most potential- today’s vote is most wasted potential.
Underrated: KC Jones
Overrated: Antoine Walker
Best: Bill Russell 🐐
Worst Starter: 2014 lineup of Phil Pressey, Gerald Wallace, Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger, and Kris Humphries
Funniest: Luke Kornet
Most Annoying: Kendrick Perkins

Len Bias
Anyone who says Len Bias is a trash human. That was a kid who made a horrible decision the night he got drafted in the 80s. That’s a tragedy. Not wasted potential.
Len Bias 💯
Vincent poirier
Chauncey Billups. But Chauncey isn’t the one who wasted it for us. Pitino was.
Honorable mention- the 2007 lottery balls
Only Real Answer most obvious Len Bias RIP 🙏. Unfortunately, he died before he could play the NBA game with Celtics. Celtics in 90s would have won ring with Bias
Isaiah Thomas. What could have been…
What do the answer to this question and daisies have in common?
Jeff Green
Let Bias, 100%, but I also wanna shout out Jared Sullinger.
Kyrie Irving
Gerald green
Vin baker a less obvious one than bias
Len Bias is the obvious choice, but if that’s too dark, Hayward is probably the runner-up. To go from a title/dynasty contender to a failed rehab project certainly feels like a waste.
Timelord? Cause injuries
Gordon Hayward
Delonte West should get an honorable mention.
Sebastian Telfair
It’s Len Bias but honorable mention to Reggie Lewis. At least he got to play a year.
Bias, Lewis for obvious reasons.
Bird, Hayward because of career-altering injuries. Also, as awesome as IT was, he was ceiling on his own. I don’t think the Cs would have been a legit perennial contender with him as the 1st option.
Greg Stiemsma. He had Bill Russell potential
Bias or Lewis
If we vote Len Bias then we should change it to lost potential not wasted. That’s not an accolade to bestow upon the dead.
Gordon Hayward
Len bias
100% Len bias
The 09-10 teams … if it weren’t for Len Bias
How do we define wasted potential? Depending on your interpretation:
* Rick Patino (was supposed to be the answer)
* Our 1997 Draft Lottery balls (best odds didn’t turn into Duncan!)
* Len Bias (tragedy / what if)
* Kyrie & Hayward (shoulda been a chip)
* Paul Pierce (a Celtics legend and champ, but a *lot* of his best years were wasted on mediocre teams and bad breaks. Dude shoulda had 2-3 titles)
IT
On a serious note: Len Bias
On a meme note: James Young
Len bias
Jeff green. Some nights looked like an all time great – other nights looked like the 8th man.
Rajon Rondo – imagine him playing with a good team in his prime years
