I’d have to go with Sabonis as the best passer. He was like Jokić just 20 years before.

Sabonis. He was a point guard in a centers body.

  3. Randvek

He doesn’t get as much love as the rest of his teammates, but come on guys, it’s Terry Porter. He was the one making those great 80s/90s teams hum.

  4. Steve Blake? Had some insane assist games that set records.

I’m going to mention Walton again. The greatest passing Center until Jokic.

But you nephews are obsessed with the wasteland of the Blazers of the 2000’s, and have forgotten the Blazers used to be great.

Steve Blake and Andre Miller come to mind…but Sabonis just had a gift for it. Those behind the back touch passes. Made it look effortless.

Darius Miles wins most wasted potential, days before being denied bond for Capital Murder. I guess he didn’t waste ALL his potential.

All the names that came to mind for me (Strickland, Andre, Sabonis) are here. Except one.

I’ll go with Drexler. He wasn’t the point guard, obviously, but he could make all the passes.

btw, it’s telling that a point guard who many consider the best all time Blazer hasn’t been mentioned to date: Dame. And we’re right not to nominate him. He’s been an average passer his whole career.

JR Rider is underrated but it’s got to be Sabonis

Sabonis’s passing was super overrated by the time he got here. Good vision for sure, but had some pretty bad turnovers at times and didn’t throw lobs well.

Clyde was a better passer than Terry so I’m going Clyde.

Sabonis or Andre Miller both experts in old man game
