    Tidbits:

    On Darko’s offseason:

    >I remember talking to Darko after the season about his plans and he said he likes to use the summer to do a very deep dive on what worked for his roster last season and what didn’t and what strategic tweaks he might make.

    >…the odd coaching staff retreat and, in late summer, informal workouts with a majority of the players.

On his projection for the starting lineup:

    >A total guess right now, considering that they didn’t address front-court size, would be Immanuel Quickley, Gradey Dick, RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl.

    >That’s too small and will put a heavy rebounding onus on Barnes and Barrett, which is not something that’s in their wheelhouse, I’ve mentioned this before: Quickley, Barrett, Barnes, Mr. X and Poeltl would be more balanced and create mismatches in their favour; the way it’s shaping up now creates mismatches against them that are going to be troubling.

    >But, like we said, it’s way too early and we’ll see what shapes up through training camp and the exhibition season.
