Embiid. Look you can’t just go by blocks. There’s more to interior defense than just blocks. Joel has less blocks because his defense keeps people out of the paint. Bol would get cooked in this day and age. Mutombo could have been but he barely played here and when he did he was already past his prime (although still far from cooked). Ratliff perhaps? But still Embiid just changes the entire complexion of the game with his defense in a way that Ratliff never really did.

Embiid has a very good case for this. Wilt was known to chase blocks. When healthy, embiid is one of the best rim protectors in the league every season. His block numbers aren’t high but guys just don’t attempt many shots at the rim when he’s in the game.
