Of course the whole methodology is flawed.
If you only look at fouls called you can only show them to be correct or incorrect. Suggesting that Joel gets too many calls. You don’t look or even consider that he is fouled without a call frequently too. Which will offset some incorrect foul calls.
You also cannot review a sample of one and have no baseline and conclude anything. Does everyone have a similar ratio? Do MVPs get more phantom calls? Etc.
Reviewing only his foul calls can only lead to an answer of he gets too many calls.

I really liked the dude’s content but this video seems very unnecessary, if you’re going to single out one player, why not mention the other players like James Harden or Chris Paul or Marcus Smart or Dillon Brooks who also play the foul bait game also, even to worse degrees
