I’m glad it’s not just me saying this, obviously I don’t think we’re gonna make the play in but I could see us getting 35 wins and for the 2nd year of a full rebuild that’s pretty good

I think the Blazers are all in on Flagg. I don't expect to see them win more than 22 or 23 games max. IF they win over 30 games it better because Sharpe or Scoot POPED. Because 30 wins with little to no development from the kids and missing out on a top pick will get Cronin fired and Billups not renewed.
Blazers need a breakout year from Billups to be better than expected. Think we definitely have the talent to be better than bottom few teams.
20 10 from Ayton and all defense for Clingan?
The biggest issues for the Blazers is that I don't think they want to be good yet. They want a chance at a high draft pick in what many people think will be strong draft class next year. I think they'll trade Grant, Simmons, and maybe even Ayton at some point for young talent and draft picks. This will make them worse in the short term which again is what they want.
The other issue is I'm just not sold on Billups as a coach. To be fair Billups hasn't really had a great roster to work with.
They should be better than last year, but the front office only cares tanking for draft positions. So every good player will have mysterious injuries to make sure they have a good draft pick.
If the Blazers want to win big, The management and coach needs to let Shaedon play like Tatum. And the whole team needs to work on 3 points scoring. Every day, they need to practice shooting 3 points, including fatigue scoring. And Shaedon also needs to get a buzz cut or a bald fade like most of the greatests. If they trade Ant and Grant, they can afford to get the one missing piece to build a super solid team. Someone needs to help the player build their confidence. Simple as that.
Expect injuries. Blazers jinxed…until they are not.
Do we really want the blazers to not be the worst this season tho? This upcoming draft can really set them up so I think it's for the best if they really suck this season

Can’t talk about the Blazer’s winning without Ant Simons. A leap to 25+ ppg would be huge for the W/L column. Why did you skip over him?
If it looks like they are going to win anything north of 25 games, I expect a highly contagious form of tendinitis to afflict some guys.
It's tank season.
I think they’re going to play good(not sit there good players) in different games this season for film review for future decisions; while still tanking the season.
We got tradeable assets in Simons, Grant, Ayton, Thybulle, and RW3.
I foresee 1-2 of those traded NLT the end of pre-season (Grant)
1-2 traded by Feb 6 trade deadline (Thybulle)
1-2 Traded to move up or acquire draft picks (Simons/RW3)
Will definitely be harder to tank this season with so much up coming talent. Will have to trade lots all those experienced guys.
Simons is not coming off of the Beach in a Trailblazers uniform. Maybe some other team.
I guess tanking and developing youngsters is the best strategy today. Regardless the fact Blazers isn't the worst team in the league
Coaching is going to be a huge factor this year
I think Deni should be playing Power Forward tbh, (especially if Grant is traded) but I agree to the fact that he’d be the starting SF of the future, I love Camara if he’s behind Deni I wouldn’t want him to be in that position, and I do not like Thybulle so I’d love to see Camara start even if that’s not possible
1. Simmons is not coming off the bench?? 2. Sharpe is not coming off the bench. 3. Name one team in the west that Portland is better than. Ridiculous! We are bad and need to be bad to get a top 3 pick. Did you not get the memo? Stick to being a fan.
