I was wondering where these posts had gone. Turns out u/CoveredInBillsScars got suspended. Not sure what for but I felt like Double Nickel Big Roy was fairly overwhelming in the last post for best rim defender.

    All time, PG.

    For their era: Roger Brown

  3. CommonerChaos

Going Gerald Green. Dude had crazy hops and was a monster dunker.

  4. Senor_Couchnap

I might take George McGinnis over Roger Brown

Edit: this was meant to be in response to u/parking-pin8348

  5. Gerald Green or that one-in-done kid from UNC that didn’t stick.

  6. The-Wylds

Over his entire time, PG. For one glorious year, Oladipo. That man was terrifying.

Bender, he was an athletic freak and had he’d stayed healthy there’s no limit to what he could’ve been,.

  8. ShopCartRicky

I always felt like Jonathan Bender was insanely athletic given his size.

Didn’t we trade for James White in the draft? Don’t think he stuck with the team.

Roy is our best rim defender? Myles Turner breaks the franchise blocks record a few months ago and Roy is our best rim defender? What are we doing here?

Brad Wannamaker might qualify as worst ever

I’m on the Obi train. Dude gets up and down the floor so fast, won a dunk contest, and continuously shows us how incredible he is as a high flyer

Dale Davis. Dude was crazy. Took the jump balls even with Rik Smits on the team. He wasn’t the best at anything (despite being the Pacers all time rebound leader), but he was everywhere.

PG and it’s not really that close.

  15. Friar_Ferguson

Kenny Williams who played for us from 90 to 94

Depending on how impactful you want this pacer to be changes the answer.

I’d go PG for a big name, but real talk it was Cassius Stanley. Didn’t get Playing time though, but the verticality and bounce was like something out if a cartoon with him

Feel like PG needs to be on one of these and this one makes the most sense. But seems like we’d rather nominate journeyman Gerald Green.
