I would say Manu is the best shooter in terms of longevity, but in terms of peak imo 2013 Danny Green is the winner here. We lost the series but he cooked Wade’s ass.

Shocked to see Pau has the highest 3pt % in a season for us LOL

  3. R6JesterYelp

Many Ginobili is the greatest 3pt shooter in Spurs history.

Gotta get the Iceman on here so I’m going for Gervin. I don’t care about #s so don’t bring me no data driven arguments.

Danny can fight for best role player.

Brent Barry is my first thought in terms of pure shooting ability.

Sean Elliott might have a better claim for the Spurs’ crown here given his impact with the organization over more years than Barry had with us. As well as hitting arguably the biggest shot in all of Spurs history.

Yeah, might need to edit the image and repost.

  7. Dale Ellis.

Danny Green, Mills, and Brent Barry are honorable mention. Chuck Person was a great shooter for his era, too.

    Matt Bonner.

He made an entire career out of his one elite skill, and was/is a lifelong Spur.

I’d say Steve Kerr, even though he didn’t play that much. But that game 6 against Dallas was epic.

Patty or Danny Green for me, also Gary Neal that one series lmao

Matt Bonner. Shooting threes was literally his role. Career 41% from deep. Lead the league one year with 46% from deep.

It has to be Manu, longevity speaks.

Danny Green in that 2013/2014 era is probably the high for pure peak.

Honourable mentions to Mason Jr and Duncan for hitting big shots against the s*ns.

Patty Mills, though Green has a case as well.

I wanted to see a category for Gervin, but we don’t have best scorer.

    1. Manu
    2. Danny
    3. Patty
    4. Bonner

Yall aren’t gonna like this but the data driven answer is Kawhi. Look at FT%, 3P% and TS% (the metrics that matter for this question)

He’s at or near the top in all three. The only player in Spurs history who can say that.

If we’re limiting it to inside the arc, honorable mention goes to Derozan

Remember, the award is for best shooter, not best 3P shooter.

It might honestly be Kawhi. Dude was an absolute dead-eye in his prime. Hitting open threes is great and all, but nailing mid-range faders over two defenders? That’s special

    I’m ok with:
    Danny Green
    Patty Mills
    Gary Neal

    Iceman easy.

Let’s not forget that George Iceman Gervin holds the record for best FG% for guards in league history. Quite literally the best shooter.
