He came to the league about 15 years too late. His footwork was something special, his other flaws were just too damning

I was there for his rookie year and really thought he was gonna roll out of bed and get 20 and 10 for a decade. #prokaforforever

Last season the Sixers technically had Okafor under contract again with the Delaware Blue Coats, even though he never played a game there. They left him unprotected in the 2024 G League expansion draft and for some reason back in June when that draft happened the new G League expansion Team, the Valley Suns, picked him up.

the Valley Suns are holding open tryouts next week they are so desperate for players. If you are good and in the Phoenix area, maybe you can be Okafor’s teammate next season

    Love whenever this gets reposted

Shit is so pleasing to watch

That right shoulder spin was his go-to move, like 95% of the clips include that in some capacity.

It’s interesting that similar to Embiid, he was more effective facing up him defender and using his footwork to beat them rather than posting up + backing down

Some say, even to this day, if you listen carefully, you can still hear him rolling out of bed and getting 20 & 10.

Was good in the post with great footwork, but what really let him down is his awful rebounding and defence.

Some say he is still rolling out of bed to this day

Imagine if Ben Simmons had this dude’s post moves

like a harley in your garage collecting dust

One of the best post scorers the 76ers ever had.

Unfortunately he was a cone on defence and no outside range. He has the tools just not the heart for anything else.

He would have been such an ok player in the mid-1990s!
