I came up with 3 trades involving the Toronto Raptors. I will be breaking down each trade and explain why each team is making the trades and the logic behind players being moved. The best trade for the Raptors is Charlotte, still not ideal. But vets that are team first guys are a plus! Keep Up the Great Content.

As long as we get a first or start level forward I’m in. If we tank this year then would try to trade Indy pick 2026 back to them for their made 2025 first and Jazz 2027 second. This gives them the flexibility to trade player and pick(s) for 1 more star as I think they need that to compete NYK and Boston.
Trade 2 is a tank this year until Cs get more experience except KO

Raps get Cameron Johnson, Rui H, Nets 2026 second , LA 2 seconds 2027 + 30
LAL get BB + Dennis Schroder + 2029 NYK first
Nets get D’Angelo R + Chris Boucher + Cam Reddish + 2026 Indy first + 2026 Rap second + 2029 LAL first top 5 protected
Why Nets All money is short and with Ben S they have $70+ Mil to spend in cap to get more assets or a big FA when the time is right. Nets also add to their war chest of first round picks.
LAL get off bad contracts that don’t play Def and did not show well in playoffs. BB and DS are great role guys for 1-2 years to go after a Chip with Lebron. DS had his best years with lakers and I think he is even better now with Fiba experience. Yes lakers give a first but get back NYK first that year.
Why Raptors. They can use playable forward depth both players shoot three decent to very well. It balances the lineups and helps development by giving players better people to play with. Yes we give up Indy pick but pick swap for a better second same year
I could see nets asking for another second but I would remind them we helped them last year sending them DS and hope they play ball.

This trade says LAL get worse but I don’t think so especially next playoff!
Trade 2: The Raptors heavily handicap themselves at the 5 position. If Masai can ensure a viable 5 man than this would be great. The center position has been the Raptors Achilles heel for the last decade plus.

Trade 2 need Dyson instead of Kobe Bufkin tbh. We need more defenders not more guards. Give the hawks the Indiana 2026 pick if u need to get it done for Dyson
thanks for the Charlotte trade I was looking over all the potential teams and I think Charlotte has the best potential and need for a defensive wing forward.

The Charlotte trade is the only one of the three that has any legs …but really none will ever happen
Rather see what the team looks like before making any Poeltl trades, I need a good enough sample size to see if someone of Poeltl's archetype fits well with the core over a longer period of time.
