We will be a lottery team but likely not tank early in the year.
Some notes:
– Kessler wanted to develop into a stretch 5, while the Jazz wanted him to be a prototypical rim running big. His screening and rolling needed a lot of work. He also couldn't play with John Collins. They were atrocious together.
– Sexton is awesome. He's so underrated it's kind of sad. He'd be a 6th man of the year candidate if they weren't losing so much. Another team would be smart to trade for him, but the Jazz can keep him for when they are good.
– Cody Williams projects as the 2nd best player, but he's a few years away from reaching his potential.

Patty Mills has agreed to a deal with Jazz but it hasn't been officially processed by the league office yet. Probably Jazz wants to keep their options open of stuff they can still do before using cap space/exception/something on Mills. So the deal is not visible yet on the official listings because of that.
Also I like Lauri a lot, he is the reason I started to watch Jazz games and stuff. Still saying that he is better than Gobert who will most likely be hall of fame guy when all is said and done is a bit iffy at the moment in my opinion 🤔
If, in a couple of years, the Jazz have five players better than Markannen, they'll be in real good shape. You don't trade a top 30 player in hopes of drafting…a top 30 player.
This video is kinda joke. First Keyonte is NOT a PG. Jazz played him in that position, and he suck at it. He is more 2 guard. I also doubt can he ever be on court in winning team, his defence is horrible. Add that his shooting was so bad too. He need to take huge step forward if want be part winning team. Now he is good for jazz because jazz tank heavily this season. He is good for losing games.
Second, Juzang suck too. It was miracle that he got that contract. Why Eubanks is in the team is maybe biggest mystery of all. Nobody can tell reason for that.
Third, whole "rebuild" is very doubtful at best. Ainge has been try get so many very good players in utah, he has been failed every time. Stars dont want come to utah. All Ainge can get is medicore players at best. Or players who has been under bad coaches and underperform because that, Lauri is best example of that. Anyway, jazz must hit draft hard or they never be contender team. Trades is not what they can do, no matter how many late 1st round picks they have. Nobody want even trade star players for late 1st round picks.
Jazz have some good assets, like Sexton, Lauri and Will Hardy. Especially hardy is very good asset for jazz, he is so underrated coach. He may be HOF level coach when he is done. That good Hardy is.
Jazz will be one of worst team in whole nba in this season. What they W/L is is hard to say because its race to the bottom. That tanking is btw thing what should never be part of any sport league. But NBA is more showbussiness than sport league.
Justin Zanuck is the GM, Danny Ainge is the team president. He’s a great evaluator of talent, but to be exact and concise, Ainge is NOT the GM
