  1. Trae is a shooting PG and not a pure PG. His ego got in the way of them working together and taking the team to the next level. PGs that shoot more than anyone on the team don’t win. Murray is not a true point, he’s more of a SG.

  2. They could’ve worked if Trae moved better off the ball. DJ is more of a SG a 2 way player, he better shooting middys & Trae is an elite passer. I feel like the injuries on the team, losing John Collins, etc hurt them more than the ā€œfitā€. They proly needed more than 2 years too but oh well lol

  3. For him to be your teammate and say he wasn't a scorer is crazy considering he went off for ATL a lot of times

  4. One played defense but cant play off the ball, one cant play defense and cant play without the ball.

  5. Can't blame DJ, injuries etc, let's be honest, they weren't better then Boston, NY, Philly etc are better even if Atlanta is fully healthy.

Trae needs to be a better defender, that as well as the coaching staff assigning how they'll play so they wouldn't be confused out there, crazy how their organization didn't establish that.

  6. Because he doesnt move without the ball. Just stands at the hash, doesnt even attempt to guard anything, truthfully is not an honest playmaker, he only passes to get assists. So once he gets his 10, he’s done passing. He refuses to adjust his playstyle to win. And Dejounte came to ATL on some chasing numbers BS

  7. ā€œI know what its like being the lone star on a teamā€ this is Paul Georges problem, always wanting some kind of help.

  8. Even if you have two all star guards, it isnt going to make the team into a good one. Pretty sure any other team in the same situation had better system and players around their all star guards to get successful. Also considering the guards they had were all time greats and not just fringe all star level level. Warriors had defensive depth for their guards, all time great shooting, and many other great role players. Mavs have probably the best dribbling skills of all time and maybe the future european goat with again so many really good role players. I dont see how trey and DJ can compare to any of those teams and look who the hawks have around them. I dont see the hawks executives taking responsibility. Just letting the blame go to trey and dj when they didnt even do anything else to build up the team.

  9. One guy thinking ā€œyou’re here to help meā€ and the other guy thinking ā€œI’m here to help MEā€. It’s tough to make that work if one side can’t meet the other fr

  10. ā€œI knew I had somebody that could come in and help meā€.

Should always make it about helping the team.

  11. It never made sense from the get go. Dejounte was a point guard in San Antonio. The Hawks should’ve gone after Mitchell but they settled for Murray because that’s the most they could get. Maybe if these two draft picks do pan out, they have something special here in Atlanta.

  12. Trae suck honestly bruh he’s not a team player he’s a One on One Type of Guy He’s only good with the center throwing lobs all day and step backs..

  13. I Fvk with Ice Trae…BUT IF YOU DONT SHUT THE FVK UP AND ANSWER THE QUESTION šŸ˜‚ all this pussy footing around man that was irritating

  14. Put Trae on any number of teams as the starting PG and they get better.

I don’t want to hear about defense, that can be remedied. The fact is he is a stone cold killer I’m the playoffs, and makes his teammates better offensively. If At,Anita could just obtain one single other player capable of being an All-Star ATLEAST, this Hawks team would be back in contention. Odd fits and role players aren’t all-stars! Get this man some help.

Hell I’m not even a Hawks fan! I’m from Philly! I’m still excited to see this team with the players from the Murray trade and their draft pick. I think they feel more well rounded after those moves. That rookie is gonna be better than I think a lot of people think. Especially once he gets in the weight room.
