  1. Only weak spot on a Mavs players that will see time is Hardy….have no confidence in him…occasionally gets hot but never consistently plays winning basketball. Hope for Mavs sake things change as Kidd will give him (experiment) a lot of minutes early in year….he needs major psychological development.

  2. Handy does have a high ceiling. Expect Hardy to receive a team friendly extension to continue his development to become a rotation player in the future. He is young and in a good spot. If anything, dumping Exum for a draft pick would be a plus for the mavs as Exum may become expendable this season

  3. It's wild how are having these discussions about players on the roster bringing something productive to the court when it comes to Hardy, But we got Powell, Omax, Maxi & everybody wants Keef Back & they bring NOTHING! We can all agree Hardy should get mins over those guys so why isn't this video about THEM?

  4. What's the point of trading Hardy when whoever comes back won't get minutes anyway? I think they'll extend him on nothing too crazy and let him develop.

  5. I like Hardy, but I think he should focus on being mentored by Kyrie cause he can learn a lot that way one day we may need him and everything he learned from Kyrie will pay off, but he does need to focus more on offense and on defense sometimes he was good other times he was inconsistent

  6. Jaden Hardy replacing Kyrie is wishful thinking, he hasn't show even a fraction of the talent Kyrie had at his age.

I think at this point his ceiling does not look higher than his current role as a 5minutes per game minimum contract guy.

Maybe I am wrong and he'll be able to copy some of the things Grimes does defensively, but I think time is running out.

  7. Man, I'm kinda tired of Mavs reporters and SM folks constantly trying to trade Hardy. Let the kid develop man… not everyone is an All-NBA player out the gate like Luka.
Hardy showed he has potential after coming off the bench in the playoffs and hanging with the big dogs. This after getting little minutes during the regular season.
If they package him with some picks to get a Lauri, WCJ or Avdija like player, cool. But bleep that if youre just getting a second rd pick or some old ass player that will be here for half a season and doesnt contribute.
This not a slight of Marcel, just irritated that these talks have been going on before he finished his rookie yr.

  8. I want Hardy to step up next season because I think he’s got potential to step up, but I hope he doesn’t request for a trade because we’re not using him enough next season and he doesn’t actually end up stepping up. If that happens, then just call a trade for Dorian Finney Smith where we could just give up him, Maxi Kleber, AJ Lawson, and a second round pick for the 2025 draft without giving up a 1st round pick. I would like Finney Smith to come back as a I think he’s better than Kleber, but I don’t want to give up Hardy, and Lawson (If we end up not waiving him and don’t resign Markieff Morris). I saw this proposed trade on a News Article from The Smoking Cuban and I do think this could be a good trade, but one that’ll most likely not happen. I think we’re ok with what we got going into the season, but I do think we could have a bit of a stronger bench for next season, since I think Kleber on brings good defense and not good enough offense to help us more for next season, meanwhile Finney Smith can there. Don’t want to worry too much here about this but I look forward to see what the Mavs show everyone next season.

  9. It's too early to make a call on him at this point, things could look very different by the time we're near the deadline. If Spencer and/or Grimes underwhelm we might be glad to have Jaden. Wait and see for now. Remember, Hardy is actually two days younger than O Max

  10. Marcel if you're referring to the Locked On Mavs grid that had Hardy as the most overrated, you're missing the context. They voted him most overrated because there are people who say that Hardy is the future Kyrie replacement. Which he isn't.

  11. Hardy should fit the THJ Microwave scorer spot. He can give us 15 per game in 20 off the bench.

  12. We all saw that defense is not our weakness. We needed scoring in the playoffs but Kidd would not play him.

  13. Hardy is not one of the players we traded he does his job everybody traded didn't or struggled at there position the team if we trade Hardy it would be more about letting him get more pt and should be combined with another starter at the 3or 4for a upgrade

  14. Love your channel! I'm liken your news. Out of all the other channels. Yours is the best. Let me win thst give away! Yes sir!

  15. They need to stop fuckin with shit. Leave the team alone. At least for tao or three years and get adjusted. Every year 4 or five ppl leave. 2019 is what…5 years. And only Luka and Max.

  16. Hardy is definitely not the most overrated. He's much more talented than a lot of our players and he was one of the few players who wasn't afraid to take shots during the playoffs
His biggest weakness address his turnovers which can be improved

  17. I wonder if Hardy is okay with playing so few minutes.. and if he gets even less minutes this coming season how will he feel? Will he want to leave the team?

  18. If it were me I’d keep Hardy because he’s a young player getting developed by 3 HOFers in Kidd Luka and Kyrie. The only way I would trade Hardy is if was he and Kleeber along with OMax for a good rotational PF like Jerami Grant? I think Grant backing up PJ would be great. If it’s not a trade like that then I would leave Hardy alone and give Hardy 17 minutes a game for 35 games then go from there. Now OMax? I might be a lot more interested in shopping him. Omax isn’t fluid enough for me as an NBA player.

  19. I think we're gonna have a mini brunson situation he has much to offer but way more valuable for another system
