i wonder how elaborate this money laundering scheme is

Thought this dude was done when he played for us but he revived his career lol. Respect

This is fine. He’s obviously not gonna get his jersey retired but he’ll be on the wall of honor or whatever, I don’t mind him being the 13th man/cheerleader/veteran presence. Is it a problem if he somehow gets a ton of minutes? Yes, but that means something went very wrong and isn’t really his fault. He played pretty well last year when he got shoved into the rotation (but immediately got suspended for steroids lol).

I can always expect 2 things from Thompson. 1) Always cheat on his wife/girlfriend and 2) to chase a bag.

He did a great job on Jokic in 2023

Damn shocked he’s still just 33.

We should have brought him to the Olympics in that case, at least a big body to throw on those French forwards that destroyed us

How is this guy still in the league lmao

You think of Tristan Thompson as a relic from LeBron squads of years past on the verge of retirement in a couple years…

Then you realize he’s 6 1/2 YEARS younger than LeBron, who somehow still has a year or two (three?!?) left himself

So the Cavs are basically just running it back?

How does this man keep getting contracts

He’s fine as a third center. He was able to get some boards and move his feet well enough on defense. He was significantly better than I was expecting last year.

I also wonder if Atkinson would be more willing than JB to play Wade at the 5.

It feels like he retired like 5 years ago

It’s kind of like revisiting an old favorite workout playlis sometimes, familiar faces are just what you need to shake things up.

  15. InfamousMills0

I’m more surprised he is only 33. Feel like he has been in the league forever

  16. Flexodia

How the fuck is he only 33? I thought this man was 400 years old at this point. Never had a player’s age fuck me up like this.

Very random comment but what the hell does Basketball Reference base their projections on? Thompson’s 2024-2025 projection is 12.2/10.4/3.1 per game on 55% shooting.

    That’s hilariously optimistic.

Why does he keep going back to Cleveland, is the real question?

  19. BillyBean11111

I thought this dude retired like 8 years ago

  20. matthitsthetrails

Legit thought him and Lebron were the same age

  21. Dannyfrommiami

I’m happy for his kids getting some money

Once again the East will run through the Cavs.

Wait, what was the saying again?
