I recently posted a video on Nash scoring on Shaq and Kobe, and I got the clip from this wonderful compilation.

Watching Nash on the Mavericks, it was clear that he could take over if he was given the keys. Unbelievably clutch as well, I believe he was one of the top 5 most clutch players in the 2000s under some stat.

    >more explosive pre-MVP Steve Nash

Never in my life would I have thought someone would describe Steve Nash as explosive.

Woah look how high he got on that layup!!

A shame that he and Dirk never won a ring together.

Him and Dirk made one Confernce final in 6 years together. What makes it crazy is it’s not like they were babies or something, Nash was 30 when he left.

As a kid growing up in Dallas, this Nash is actually why I’m a Suns fan. My fandom followed Nash and never left.

Those Jet Flight seasons were just different.

Opening night of Pineapple Express in Manhattan’s East Village, my best friend and I were stoned and hungry for popcorn. Two people ahead of us in line is 2-time MVP Steve Nash and I believe his sister. They ordered a ton of popcorn and soda, and I wasn’t sure if Steve could carry it all on one tray and asked him if he needed help. My friend chided me, “He’s the best ball handler in the league, I think he can handle the popcorn and soda.” Nash turned around and thanked us for the offer. We told him he should come save the Knicks (who were horrendous at the time). He smiled and told us to enjoy the movie. Good times.
