Turning 35 this year, has a history of injuries, and is a strong personality in the locker room. I know it’d be a terrible decision, but any chance some team offers him a max?

Would spurs want him on like a 2 year max ? Idk what their cap situation is but having him around vassell,kj,castle would be a good vet who’s played on the wing for years. Him and cp3 might clash though but both guys respect pop it would be cool to see.
Nobody giving 35 (36 next season) year old jimmy butler (with an injury history) any sort of max extension just to underperform all regular season, make a play-in spot and then get bounced in the first round.
Unless if your goal is not to win, then someone will do it to sell some tickets.
Warriors will do something drastic to maximize Steph’s final years, but they get ONE shot to get it right. Believe in MDJ!
