What are your expectations for the Rockets this season? Is it playoff or bust?
I think this team wins 45+ games but I think Jalen disappoints again and eventually gets traded
We really got a squad man. October can't come soon enough! I'm really hoping JG is consistent this year and is the player we know he is.
Standings wise though…OKC, Nuggets, Wolves, and Mavericks are the for sure teams that are going to do better than us. Clippers got worse but Memphis gets Ja back so maybe that cancels each other out. I think Suns and Pelicans are kinda cooked, Lakers are ultra-cooked. Kings I can see being pretty good, Warriors can't be counted out but they're not dominant anymore and are kinda cooked as well. Jazz, Spurs, and Blazers are definitely worse than us.
So realistically, we have 4-5 teams above us no matter what I think. Leaves us at 6 seed to play-in. This is realistically ideal. No way we don't make play-in, AT LEAST, this year but I think we actually go into playoffs and probably lose in the first round.
Good pod guys. PLAYOFFS OR BUST. anything less is failure. this is our year to rise. I think we can win 50 games this year if we get out of the gate fast and I'm expecting us to do that. the western conference is going to be a meat grinder, but I expect us to do some of the grinding
Play in at the minimum. I will be disapointed if the Rockets don't make it to the 1st round, and give a good account of themselves.
