No! Mitch, Achiuwa, Sims and Hukporti are enough! Trade for a center at the deadline only if Robinson gets a season ending injury!
Looney,Adams and Duren are not in the same galaxy as Mitch defensively!
Save your centers for the playoffs. Use Morris there a lot during the season, even Hart. Save the best centers for the playoffs .

Nick Richards is a really good big, od say hes better that Precious definitely Jericho and hes the same age, and it wouldn't take a whole lot to get him.
Valanciunas is the way to go. He replaces the offensive versatility that Hartenstein gave us. Not an great defender by any means but is a strong enough rebounder and a big enough presence that he’ll be impactful with the defenders he has around him. Him being on the Wizards is another bonus for us as they likely won’t care what players they receive and should be happy with a pick swap and a couple of 2nds.
I-Hart wasn’t a needle mover when we got him either and Knicks fans cried when he left. You never know what Thibs can do with a player.

Knicks need a back up center asap be for the season start
Y. Yes, the Knicks should absolutely trade for a center. Why don't they try to go after Wendell Carter? He can shoot 3's, defend, give assists and finish at the rim on ally oops & pick n' rolls. I know they have maybe 2 first round draft picks left…but it would be worth it. Last season in the playoffs Mitch was gone which removed the team's rim protection & shot blocking against most centers & drives to the rim. We can't wait for that to happen again this year. Wendell Carter is also young as well.
