Steve Kerr on the angriest he’s ever been with Draymond: “The Jordan Poole incident… He crossed the line with Jordan. He knew it immediately, and it made that season incredibly difficult for everybody.”

If you were so angry why didn’t he get punished for that by the team?

  2. LotharBot

Glad Steve Kerr has been so consistent about accountability for Draymond, so that he hasn’t become a menace

  3. HerBootyHoleBrown

damn if only there was a person in the locker room whose job is to manage egos and team chemistry

  4. Ok-Discipline9998

Poole be like that kid when his mom says “seeing your dad abuse you makes me so sad”

  5. Joetheshow1

He was so angry he did absolutely nothing to punish Draymond

  6. bball_nostradamus

why even say this now after you took drays side LMAO

  7. staarscreem

Yet y’all didn’t do shit to Draymond & pushed the actual victim out of the team

  8. Cloudz777

Should have said that Poole and himself are alike, both took a punch to the face during practice

  9. wnba_youngboy

Another Kerr waffle moment. He handled this situation like pure shit.

  10. Louiethesaint

Can you imagine if a coworker assaulted you on the job and your manager did nothing about it?

  11. SectorNo2661

Steve No Acountability Kerr. Controlled everything coming out of that locker room and even got the media to play along. Wonder what would’ve happened if it was Curry who got KOd instead of Poole.

  12. SnooMarzipans5767

Most media trained answer he could’ve possibly given

  13. Easy-Philosopher-562

“crossed a line” but the Warriors never suspended him

    Just a joke

I still think the whole notion of letting Draymond be Draymond is stupid by Kerr. Like if Draymond doesn’t act like a donkey he can’t do the things we need him to do in defense. It certainly isn’t Draymond’s physical traits and defensive IQ that allows him to do that, it’s giving him free reign to give in to his very intrusive thoughts and do dumb shit.

  15. No-Feed-1408

Is no one going to talk about this man in this hat

  16. gamesrgreat

They should have pressed him on no suspension

The worst part of all of it is after JP was physically assaulted none of his teammates stood by him. HE is the one that gets booted off the team, not the guy with a violent past that claims a wife beater “can do no wrong in my eyes” but the 23 year old who was talking a little shit is.

  18. illiterateaardvark

Actions speak louder than words, and talk is cheap if it does not match your actions

It wouldn’t make for good PR (which is what this circus is all about), but on a certain level I would at least kind of respect Kerr if he was honest and said that he chose to side with Draymond because of his tenure and past success with the team. It’s the truth; if hypothetically a bench player who’s been on the team for a year did what Draymond did, there’s no way Kerr would have reacted the same way

You can’t speak sympathetically about Poole and say Draymond crossed a line when you didn’t do jack shit to punish him. This is basically like somebody getting bullied in school and then getting punished instead of the bully when an incident occurs. Imagine getting into an argument at work with one of the manager’s favorites, he punches you, and then you get fired instead of the puncher

This whole situation stinks. I have respect for Kerr because I agree with a lot of his views outside of basketball and I feel a certain kinship as we’ve both lost family members to gun violence, but I think the way he handled this situation was pretty gutless

  19. GoodLifeWorkHard

That punch from Greene was one helluva punch!

  20. TheBrazilianKD

“When was I angriest, hmm which out of the hundreds of assaults should I pick”..

  21. ffordedor

He’s talking about the guy that leaked the video, he was also named Draymond

  22. Kerr and Myers are spineless cowards. Scared to do the right thing

  23. TreyMcnally

I feel like that incident screwed poole up and has had negative impact on his playing career

  24. GuyWithNoSwagger

So angry you didn’t punish him and if fact defended Draymond.

    Stfu Kerr

  25. lexingtonwildcats

Honest Abe doesn’t seem to be buying the answer

  26. OoS-OoM

Let not kid that Kerr cares. He’s been covering up for a sore loser man baby. He’s a large factor in why DG feels he can act like this with very little repercussions

  27. donta5k0kay

If Draymond went on to become an upstanding player I’d only be slightly disgusted with Kerr

But he actually got worse and choked Rudy Gobert and smacked Jusuf Nurkic

  28. JeffFoxworthySux

Then why did no one even slightly punish him?

  29. Oh, so that’s why you shipped out Poole and gave Draymond $100m

    Fuck off Steve.

  30. BillowingPillows

    “He knew it immediately”

    Record scratch.

Narrator: “He did not know it immediately”.

  31. DrFartgoreShartsmith

Wow, isn’t there like someone who’s in charge of the players, sort of like I guess a leader you could say, who could also be in charge of disciplining the players? Crazy idea. We could call it a coach, or maybe a head coach? Wild. Would really help the NBA grow

  32. charlesfluidsmith

Kerr is a fucking hypocrite. He has an opinion on everything under the sun, but consistently provides cover for that terrible fucking psychopath.

  33. No what he was really angry about is who leaked the video, lets be real.

  34. octopus86sg

And the punishment to them is hopefully for next 10 years GSW wins nothing

  35. lala_b11

Then why was Jordan Poole the one traded then?

  36. victheogfan

I just don’t understand why he was more mad at the person who leaked the video

  37. DancesWithDave

Then why keep enabling him? Bitch

  38. ghdtyjksbjt

Draymond is like a toddler with his emotions, its very strange to see from grown man who can’t control his emotions
