OG’s are gonna win this one probably, but for this era Ziaire is the clear answer

As a Vancouver kid, Big Country. If you guys count Vancouver of course.

Wasted by the Grizz? Definitely Kyle Lowry

The 2nd overall pick in the 2009 draft

Hasheem Thabeet. If that dude just gave half effort, he would be dominant on defense and the boards.
Stromile Swift, OJ Mayo, and Wade Baldwin IV would be the other choices.

Oj Mayo, too much drama

I’ve been waiting for this one.

Rudy Gay. Man could defend pretty decent against Kobe and others, was streaky af. Just never consistent. And for LONG stretches.
Or OJ Mayo

OJ Mayo is my pick here.
I think many will say Thabeet but Grizz fans collectively were against the pick at the time as it was obvious he didn’t have the talent/potential.
OJ Mayo was phenomenal his rookie year. He was neck and neck with Derrick Rose for the first half of his rookie year for ROY award before Rose easily ran away with it.
After that? Never got better. Got worse. Frustratingly worse.

Hmm, that may be a toss up between Hasheem Thabeet and Ziaire Williams. I think Thabeet never had the potential now that I think about it more. He was just overrated. So Ziaire Williams.

I don’t consider Shareef to be wasted potential, but from a skill standpoint that man could have been first-ballot if a few things work out differently
