You’ve compared a set shot to and off the dribble shot I believe he always has had that awkward shooting release especial when he's catching and shooting. I do see he is snapping he's rist and using more of a goose neck at the end of his release more compared to season past. But he's shot from watching that full workout video looks improved.
Looks like a Sam Perkins style flatfoot jumper. Might be able to create from it or he could be messing around.

Bridges has a crazy wingspan, so his shooting form is always going to look weird. This new form looks better. It's much smoother. It looks more clean. His original shooting form a little hitch if you really paid attention to it.
Shooting in game speed is different than shooting in practice. His release point and follow through is exactly the same
