Jalen Brunson is a very good player but heβs also a volume shooter. Without the great rebounding of the Knicks you can see the flaws in Brunsonβs game.
ummmm, I don't particularly care as neither of these are my teams but it's weird to act super hardcore ,when you need a 7th game to beat a team missing like half it's actual starting lineup. I was shocked the Knicks got anywhere near this far. As beat up as they were. I was dumb enough to imagine a Pacers sweep, needless to say I lost that bet.

Look up the stats of Derrick Jones Jr 2.7mil and Kelly Oubre Jr. 2.8mil, Playoff series ppg, rbs, asts.. 20/5/4 for DJ, KO, had close to those same numbers with 7rbs/asts.. DJ d rating of 116., Nesmith is a 118. For reference. Kelly 114.. I kept saying all last off-season foe Pacers to sign them. We could have had them on long term contracts for very cheap.
Yet they didn't sign them of course.. Now Jones will probably never get to leave the Mavs.. why would they let him go.. smh.. Oubre we could try for.. but he'd probably at least get 10 to 12. Mil a year.. think about having made room and having them both??. We could have beaten Boston if we have those 2 guy's and Mathurin healthy even more so.. i also mentioned trading for PJ Washington.. and getting Miles Bridges. I knew PJ was attainable. The Knicks did choke and im not using injuries as an excuse and i also dont make excuses for refs like i been seeing too many pacers fans do. THEY LOST! and they lost because the perimeter defense was terrible. Injuries or not, you have to play better defense than what i saw the Knicks play. Would they had won this series if everyone were healthy? Yea probably but that wasnt the case. They had injuries thats the reality and they didnt fully overcome it.
Anyway, i just cant stand Haliburton though. Hes soft and a front runner. The type of player who pounds his chest and is corky when his team is up but folds when they get punched in the mouth. I hate the Celtics but i just cant stomach a guy like Haliburton winning which is why i kinda hope boston wins which they probably will since theyre the much better team. Im not that much invested into it tho since im pretty much checked out of basketball until next yr because of how disappointing it was to deal with the Knicks blowing this series.
