He is turning into a little B!!!! Let it go! His game didn’t fit game situations.
Why we still talking bout this bullshit
All that mattered was they won the GOLD. Nothing else matters
Wasnt Tatum considered top 5 in the NBA? How tf does a guy like that ride the bench?
This subject matter is stale
Kerr wanted to break up the Celtics
Tatum was wronged on so many levels. Kerr is easily the most overrated coach ever. If he didn't want to play Tatum then why did he even take him to the olympics
SAS time to talk about UFO AND UAP
L take by SAS. They needed role players to complement Bron, KD, and Curry. Get over yourself.
Other than defense, his offense and decision making speed was terrible when he was on the floor. I blame it mostly because he and Joe mazulla ha relegated him to a 1 dimensional 3 point shooter. He had some flashes in the Olympics of his old self where he had more scoring variety, but his decision making was just too slow.
Guy didn't hit one shot at the Olympics. 0 for 16. 0% shooting percentage.
Move on
You're officially no longer a sports broadcaster. You're an internet celebrity that casually covers sports. You have little to no expertise in the field of sports at this point in time. My mailman has more sports depth than you.
Top 6?????
I’m sorry, but Kerr’s objective was to win the gold for Team USA. Not to make sure there was no hurt feelings.
Nice suit
How in the world is he blaming Kerr for not having Jaylen Brown on the team?
Hey, Stephen A. Smith I wanted to take a moment to discuss your recent performance. We've noticed that your productivity on Youtube hasn't been where we need it to be. As a result, we're going to have to bench you and we will refrain from watching you.
This was a perfect summer for the Boston Celtics!
Tatum was playing like 🗑️ in the Olympic Games. So he got BENCHED. He should be Motivated to Prove that he’s still one of the Best Players in the NBA. But Steve Kerr wasn’t Wrong.
Let me tell you something SAS , it was complete BS Brown and Jason got treated like that, but I think this is going to help the Celtics in the end them boys got the rest they needed after last season, they will repeat 💯 because of this
About time to move on. But this season is definitely a revenge season for Tatum and Brown. #19 coming.
There was nothing wrong with Steven Kerr benching Jason Tatum, Jason Tatum needs to stop crying and being mad at the politics around The NBA, We all must admit most of the time he feels he’s inconsistent period, there’s level to this game good job coach Kerr.
Did y'all forget he was carried in the playoffs that year??? Shot about 35% and was a turnover machine.. has anyone considered that?? He didn't get the finals MVP for a reason and everyone there outperformed him in the playoffs. Better numbers on better efficiency. The facts people tend to miss get on my nerves
Jaylen Brown not being selected to be part of Team USA is worse than Kerr not giving JT more minutes
As a Celtics fan , thanks Steve you rested him to the season. #banner19
Cannot wait for the Celtics 2025 season. Is going to be a blood bath for the NBA 🥷☘️
The worst part about this, is that SAS doesn’t even believe this. He’s had it out for Tatum as much as anyone. It’s just that with the Warriors trending down, now is the time to pile on GSW and Kerr. Masterful manipulation, if it wasn’t so obvious.
Preach!
You right Stephen A Smith
SAS blows harder than a hurricane
I am a Boston hater but SA is RIGHT!
😭😭😭
It’s time for Tatum to stop being nice. Time to move into your villain arc. The disrespect is at an all time high at this point
Why are we still talking about this? The majority of people DO. NOT. CARE. We got the win and brought home the gold. Steve Kerr thought (correctly) that that was more important than giving Jayson Tatum playing time. Get over it.
A real professional would simply say… “We had a solid all star roster and whatever the team needed from me i was ready, the goal was to win gold and we achieved that as a team“… but u can tell the lack of maturity and professionalism
Soft
I’m not even a Tatum fan, but I agree, this and JB not even being on the team is wild. Someone high up wants to send them a message.
