James Harden: “Start of the season I’m gonna be probably – not probably, the best shape I’ve been in 5, 6, 7 years. I don’t really wanna talk. I just wanna go out there and show it.”

I would love to see a vintage prime harden season but he has statistically not come close to that since his hamstring injury that he played through

normally I’d immediately dismiss a 35-year-old talking about “best shape of my life” but thinking about it, wouldn’t be surprised if this is actually the truth. I don’t think Harden has come into a season looking 100% healthy or in shape since like 2019 maybe

    Trim. The. Beard.

    A shapeup at least

“How much you wanna bet I can throw a football over them mountains?”

  5. Prefacing this by saying Harden is still a great ballhandler and gets good separation on his jumpshots

But that hamstring injury really messed up his first step. He’s still good, but he’s not as quick in his prime, so I’m excited to see if he’s fr or just being confident

Dude looks like he’s been all gym no barbershop so maybe he’s for real

How does he eat with that beard? Must have hair in his mouth 24/7. I have to trim mine at about 1/2″ or it drives me nuts.

Well, he’s finally entering a season without drama, without outside distractions, without coming off an injury. And he’s now in a position where he’s 1B at least with the Clippers and he relishes that role. He relishes being in that spotlight and he’s relishing being able to prove and reassert his greatness again. I’m excited to witness it and how he performs.

Did his beard get bigger? It’s looking like Kaepernick’s fro at this point…

He isn’t playing like he was in 2019, so I don’t wanna hear it

  12. Familiar-Menu-6182

looking at him i dont see it lol

  13. rational_numbers

Is his goal to play out the next two years as the Clippers top scorer? Is he hoping to get traded to a contender this year?

What I hear is my whole career I been so talented that I never came to camp in good or great shape. I didn’t need to care cause I was that good. Finally I’ve lost enough of a step that I need time get in good shape.

Harden has been the best & most impactful player on every team he’s been on since OKC. In regular season & playoffs. Ask Clippers fans, Ask 76ers fans, Ask Nets fans. He’s 14th (soon to be 13th) all time in assists. He’s 20th in points all time. He’ll probably be top 10 before he retires. 3rd all time in 3 pointers made & soon to be 2nd.

  19. digidi90

Well; the titties are there. Will CP3 point that out for him?
