Thibs needs to work him into the offense, run plays for him. Too often we see him wide open under the bucket or cutting down the lane and nobody is looking for him. The kid is powerful. He has a huge upside. Again, gotta work him into the offense. It would boost his confidence tremendously.
Sims literally is the worst draft pick we’ve had since Kevin Knox dude is too short to play Center hes not skilled enough offensively to play pf so much so that precious will take all his minutes thibs would put hart at PF before even looking at sims thats how much of a liability on the floor he is
It’s his defense I’m always worried about . He always looks lost and doesn’t know how to rotate or where to stand to stop players from driving or shooting on him immediately. Then I’m offense he’s good enough imo but it’s the same problem. After the pick and roll he just doesn’t know where to stand . Like a deer in headlights at times . I always thought he could be a better Mitch cause he’s quicker and also still strong but Mitch just had this 6th sense for rebounding and blocking
He had his first Healthy offseason to develope his game that’s number 1 and number 2 Thibs likes him and sees him in Practice if Thibs likes him that’s all that matters and now he’ll have a chance this season to show us if he’s a serviceable backup center for us long term. He’s a backup if anyone is expecting all-star potential I think they need to put NBA2k down and touch the Earth

Due to the fact, that were no plays going through him. With the hops he has, as well as good he can run the floor. Thibs should really help find a role off the bench.

He got TONS of minutes last season and he didn't step up. Look at the development that Mitchell Robinson and Deuce McBride have had in roughly the same amount of time in the NBA. Sims is basically the same player now as the one we drafted.

Imho, we need to give Hukporti some time in the preseason. Hukporti is taller, younger and much more experienced than Sims. Sad to say it might be time for the Knicks and Sims to part ways.

From what I heard, Sims has been injured during the first two off seasons. This will be the season we get to see what can do. I hope he earns his minutes.

They need to develop him more, him and Toppin are good.
My big concern, no one on the Knicks is looking to pass to a big, unless he's outside the 3 point line.
In the first preseason game, he was the only one blocking out, and rebounding, and stuffing up the middle.
