THIS IS THE END of you Blazer fans always commenting about how the Blazers need to trade Simons! S T O P ! Simons is the Blazers BEST PLAYER, their CLOSER! Think about it… Who makes those really tough layups, those tough drives where Simons banks the ball high off the glass, at a weird angle, and it still goes in – almost all the time too?! Only Dame used to be the one who always seemed to make those impossible drives to the bucket and damned if it wouldn't go in. Well, Dame was Simons mentor for several years and now Simons is the one Blazers who routinely makes those buckets, and that dagger 3 pointer right when the Blazers really need a 3 to give the Blazers a little bit of a lead in an impossibly tight game. THAT CLOSER IS SIMONS! He's the Blazers BEST PLAYER, so S T O P saying the Blazers need to trade him! What would they have done without Simons tonight? LOST THE GAME! 100% for sure. The Blazers need more than just two main guards, so Simons fits fine and I don't want to hear anymore comments about how Simons needs to be traded. Refs are gutless with the double technical BS bailout call. Brooks comes in hot, initiates the contact, escalates the situation, and then the refs call it a wash. Give him a tech for starting $hit and don't bail him out with a double tech for no reason, and then he'll either learn his lesson from that, or not…
If Camara can get a good consistent offensive game going, he could be a star in the making. Heβs tall, super athletic, good rebounder, blocks and steals shots. Heβs already one of the best defensive players in the league.
