Theyre better without luka
For my opinion LUKA must not ask for supermax on he's next contract shame on him if he does…this other guys carrying his ass while taking less money…if he leave dallas i dont mind im a fan of franchise not just an individual player na mean?
This is most likely the deepest and most talented roster the Mavs had for well over a decade. Now it will all come down to chemisty and Kidd finding the best rotations to provide offensive and defensive pressure for 48 minutes. I dont really care about the record this early in the season. We have 4 new pieces to integrate and Luka is clearly not at 100% physically. But I really like that Kidd has the balls to play 10-11 men rotations while testing different closing lineups and rotations overall. We missed Luka/Thompson/Gafford (Exum) in the last game and still played a 9 man rotation. Tells you how deep this team is and how much Kidd is willing to give everyone a chance.
Thats a way better strategy then the Knicks for example, who play basically an 8 men PO rotation this early in the season. All Starters play 33+ minutes. The 3 wings (Hart/OG/Bridges) even 36+. Not the best strategy in my book. Same with the Wolves. They struggle either way, but also refuse to play more then the core 8.
So overall I think this team is on a good way and will peak at the right time again.
We just have to be healthy when the PO start, then another deep PO run is going to happen.
They just need to implement klay correctly and they set
Why Luka not playing.
They are better without Luka, yeah.
If they can't do it with this team it isn't happening.They have everything, shooting, big centers, seasoned vetereans, upcoming prodigy and talented rookies.
Mavs are just deep. I neve doubted them, we got an amazing roster, and even if 4 or 5 guys are out, we can still compete, most if not all other teams cant say the same honestly.
