Were finally signing players with the tangibles to become solid role players instead of banking on their "Potential" based on the intangibles (Size , Wingspan , Forwards etc.)
This feels like the beginning of the era when Masai had the warehouse stocked! I’m talking about the Norm, OG, Fred, Pascal , Delon Wright, era when we had so many young players that were all showing potential.
love to see our fanbase actually excited about our future
I truly feel this is what Masai is good at.. his attachment to players becomes questionable as president/GM but as a scout.. he’s the best in the league.

reality is raptors lose another 5-6 games in december and masai pulls the plus on the season and starts trading vets like yak to bottom out. yak has player option at end of next season in 2026 so he is an expiring and they are not gonna pay yak 30 plus million a year for 4 years. rogers wont pay the luxury tax so have to pick yak or rj. yak doesnt space the floor so i dont think they want another 4 years of yaks spacing for players to struggle through as teams just pack the paint.

Yeah this team can get in the playin with a weak east. Low key still riding the tank but really curious to see Darko coach a 7 game series. Experience good for the squad.
