Don't compare Jrue Holiday to LeMelo. LeMelo is taking a big step up to become a top scorer, but he's on an awful team and taking whatever shots he feels like. None of the games matter, and so really none of his shots matter. Holiday is a key part on a championship team stuffed with scoring talent. So he has dialed his game way back to elite defense, floor generalship, and scoring when his awesome teammates are actually having an off night and he has to step up. Both Holiday and Derek White could score 20+ per game easily if they were in LeMelo's place. But I am not sure LeMelo could step into Holiday's spot on the Celtics and help them win consistently the way that Holiday can.

The achiles heel of the Celtics is their attitude towards defense – during regular season, it is not as tight and stringent. It's altogether a different defense in the playoffs. But the re-entry of KP alters the Celtics dynamics completely. Now, even during this regular season, the defense elevates.

Once Brad Stevens traded for KP, they made it difficult for teams to strategically help off a Celtics player and play zone. You do not see the media talking about those two issues opposing teams have to deal with.
