No, you had great chemistry, continuity, and defense with KCP, Green, and Brown. You let those guys go. Welcome to what happens when you don’t value your role players. Following the steps of one hit wonders and champs LBJ Lakers, Giannis Bucks, and Jokic Nuggets. The Bucks and Lakers are much further away from ships, Denver is a worst version of itself with less chemistry than before and won’t be knocking on the ship door anymore. Boston followed the Golden State, Bulls, San Antonio old Laker, Celtics, and Detroit model which gives you the best chance to repeat or win multiple championships. What’s strange is you have these great role players, let them walk, only to search years to find the players you let walk away. Baffling to me. Great GMs understand star power, but also understand the importance of great role players.
