Brunson Scores 11 Points In Final Minutes To Secure Win For Knicks | New York Knicks

The Knicks close out their longest road trip of the season at 3-2 and go back home with a winning record thanks to a gritty 99-98 win in Charlotte. Jalen Brunson had his 6th 30+ point game of the season and got it done on both sides of the court to will the Knicks a win in the final minutes of the game. The Knicks are now 3-0 in the Emirates NBA Cup Tournament.

    Happy with the win, absolutely not with the performance however. We barely scrapped a win against a second unit Hornets team w/o Ball & Bridges.

    Speaking of Bridges, Mikal Bridges seemingly will never be THAT guy for us, I thought the fact he’d be playing with his friends will make him feel comfortable & help him settle and we’d see the SUNS version of him but it ain’t seeming like it, such a disappointment ngl, he ain’t scoring but more importantly, he’s also not playing as an elite defender even tho that’s his game.

    Give the ball to Kat I don’t understand what’s so hard about that. He the best player on the floor even on a bad night give that man the ball. Run plays n have him shoot more 3s. Pick n roll should be automatic

    Once again. Are we going to play the starters 40 plus minutes for every game and only use the bench when players get hurt? Unfortunately some will because it's unsustainable and actually ridiculous. The Hornets were playing rookies and G leaguers. Thibs will never do that until some one breaks their leg or pull a hamstring. Guys have showed they can play and they are in the NBA for a reason. Only Thibs. smh

    The Bridges trade ONLY made sense if the Knicks were keeping Divo . Bridges was never supposed to be a replacement for Donte .

    I'm a Knicks fan what I'm saying this that three of the last four games the Knicks have played like garbage. Now that for entering the month of December the New York Knicks can really potentially go undefeated then in the month of January do we have a lot of home games

    Thibs need to use the Bench period. We almost lost this game. Get sharpshooter Matt Ryan into the rotation. If the starters aren't producing go to the Bench.

    Bridges is not the one.I have never seen anyone with a shot like his.Its not a good look to say the least.There are better options out there, so trade him.He is a free agent next year anyway.

    The problem on this team is M.Bridges I never liked the trade when it happened and still, I did not know the reason why Leon did it. They won't go anywhere if this guy is still clueless on the floor. He does not even play with intensity.

    The starters definitely look burnt out. I will take an ugly win regardless. Thibs need to give TJ Warren a look and get Precious going soon. The team needs a 2nd unit that can provide some scoring.
