The Rockets Shouldn’t Be THIS GOOD…

Between Amen Thompson, Dillion Brooks, Tari Eason and Jabari Smith Jr the Houston Rockets defence is almost bullet proof. Houston has the 2nd best defence in the NBA holding teams to just 104 points a game which has been good enough to land themselves at the 2 seed in the western conference. With the starting lineup the Rockets are a good defensive side but its when Amen Thompson and Tari Eason come into the game that they become near impenetrable.

  1. I was with you til you said Jimmy Butler. The Rockets has no interest in Butler unless its for peanuts…Butler is conveniently injured every playoffs

  2. Green has been inefficient for sure but to say he don’t fit the tough minded defensive mindset is false. He’s improved a lot defensively and is a good defender just need to be more consistent offensively

  3. Coach udoka said youth will be no excuse we need jalen to be more consistent… great player…yes he is still young but this is a grown man league

  4. NOT a good IDEA for Houston rockets to trade any of the young players, because It will just DEMORALIZE the concentration of other young players if the EXPECTATION for the NEW comer STAR will not be met. The good idea is WAIT for the FREE AGENCY for the STAR or SUPER STAR and replace the VETERANS.
Why not to TRUST the process, they are still young to be developed. The rockets should not be HURRIED for a Championship goal as of the moment, PLAYOFFS is the target for this season not the Play in nor to reach the semi final or the final Western conference, But if they can reach that level, It is a consolation for the young build up team.

  5. The Rockets don't need Butler or Booker as both of them is overrated. And the first person the Rockets should trade is Shengun. He is super slow and inconsistent

  6. I'm sorry my g but this is beyond stupid. Butler isn't fixing the one issue you highlighted with Green, so what on earth is the point in trading for him? Plus he's like 60 years old. What makes sense for Houston is continue with what they have for right now, as they can't trade Green away until the offseason anyway, and then see how this group performs in the playoffs (if they get there). The one player that makes the most sense, if a trade has to be made, is Devin Booker. But I don't know how Houston can prize him away from Phoenix without gutting the core.

  7. Is this guy even a rockets fan?? Why are these commentators that have no idea what the rockets are becoming trying to break up a GROWING chemistry they have an opportunity to turn into a monster in the west and potentially knock the warriors off for GOOD

  8. Every time the "trade Jalen Green" chatter kicks up, he starts dropping 40+ games. Maybe that's what he needs.

  9. WTH would they trade for a 35 year old… I could see a Booker or Anthony Edwards trade but other then that No Thank You.

  10. this team is pretty much one star away I think if Phoenix collapse is there going to be in the market for one of those guys in Booker/Durant, since they own all of their picks and they have the assets to give phoenix a proper rebuild I’m thinking Jalen Green ,Jabari Smith, some of their first round picks back and probably one more player to fit salary wise

  11. It's a bad analysis video. I think the friend who made the analysis wants Houston to make a mistake like the regret of Oklahoma by trading Sengun in the draft. But I don't think that will happen.
By the way, Minnesota did not return to the game simply because Dillingham and Edwards played well. The gap quickly closed when Udoka took Sengunu aside to rest. This shows how important a player Sengun is for Houston. Amin is a beast, a great athlete. I think he and Şengün will take Houston to great heights. Houston's. Houston has two important shortcomings; He is a good shooter and a center who will not mess things up when Sengun gets tired and comes to the side.

  12. 😅 bro you were so there right before you mentioned trading for Jimmy Butler ? I’d rather we not trade Green before testing giving him sixth man responsibilities.

  13. LOL! Jalen Green is a once in a lifetime talent, I really hope you recognize that. He's the heart and soul of the Rockets, without him Houston is toast! Do you think that they would win the last game without him giving 41 points and 7 rebounds?

  14. Honestly I would like a Zach lavine cause he’s younger than jimmy but our team playing so well together I rather keep everyone together

  15. Trade a young guy for an old guy gotta be a dumb take

Just stick to teams you like and stop trying to be an nba analyst

  16. A trade at the deadline would be premature. Trading for 35 year old jimmy butler would be a mistake for epic proportions. He does not fit the timeline of the Rockets core. Dillon has been great on both sides of the floor this season and is the defensive anchor. Rockets should ride it out with this roster and regroup in the off season

  17. This is horrible.. Jimmy is not on our timeline AT ALL. Man… what a disappointing video.

  18. Jimmy aint the answer now. I think he wouldve been great in Houston in the Harden era. But he too old for this team now
