This is all just proof the Mike Budenholzer was the problem. Getting rid of the coach that molded that team into championship contenders and winners is going to go down as one of the worst decisions in the history of the Bucks organization.
People forget Dame is 34 years old now. He's on the downside. He's always been an offense first guy. The Bucks knew he wasn't a great defender when they traded for him. Giannis will ask for a trade at the end of the season.

Blazers fan here. Lots to break down. How much did D+G+Middleton play together to form any form of chemistry? Bobby looks bad….very bad. Bad everything right now and nothing like the crazy PF from their chip run. Pat looks like a turnstile on defense. GTJ imo is fine for a deep bench player but not much more when you factor his deficincies. Giannis is more reluctant than ever to shoot that free 15 footer that he can get anytime and shoot over anyone. Facing up, fadeaway whatever it's a free shot. He is so tall it literally doesnt matter, but his mechanics are bad to this day imo. His release is probably 4" over Aldridge if he hops a tiny bit. Lopez, although great in the paint and when his 3s are falling is a tractor outside of 10ft…on offense and defense. Dood is slower than Nurkic. Doc is doc and there is Dame to conclude. After 12 years I can tell you he doesnt like or make the pocket pass often after a screen from a big. I can also tell he you never lobs even if you had prime Deandre J. He also has lost some burst and his first step to get by defenders isnt always there. Finally, I dont think his heart is in it. I truly believe he wanted to retire in Pdx and he spent so many years playing 1 style of play centered around him that I dont think you can mitigate his deficiencies at this point. He doesnt set off balls screens or run around like Steph for catch and shoot. All in all I do think G asks out in the offseason….and this is coming from someone who wants Dame to get a ring.

Kris Middleton isn’t even healthy right now. I get it Giannis doesn’t shoot but not once did you mention how Dame is simply underperforming. He can’t iso and he didn’t a True PG he’s not playmaking at all and it doesn’t help when you have a bad coach combined with that of a bad playmaking guard. The reason why curry is so successful bc he’s so consistent and he’s a playmaker on and off the ball. If anyone that needs to be a better off ball player it’s dame. His catch and shoot game is terrible.
