Tyrese Maxey confronted Joel Embiid in a team meeting but that’s just the start of serious drama around the Sixers right now. Some are calling for Philly to shut down Embiid for the season and this is a look at why that might be a good idea.

  1. Who here thinks that this is the start of Embiid's decline…

    Hunger is no longer there.
    * He won MVP
    * He won Olympic Gold
    * Multiple All-NBA and All-Star

    Plus the fact that he is always injured..

  2. 6:32 Morey is the worst GM in the league! I’m a Rockets 🚀 fan and he decimated our team!!💯 If it weren’t for Stone my team would be as bad as Philadelphia!

  3. The only reason Embiid won mvp was because joker being an international player winning 3in a roll now is 4 might even be 5 seeing how things going so far this season. For me joker winning those consecutive mvps really doesn’t mean he is better than those all time greats, it just means he is the best in this era which is the truth. Embiid getting that mvp is really one of the most bullshit things the league ever did.

  4. Trade Embiid and PG for Wemby…. The Spurs will get fleeced into thinking its a good offer (its not)

  5. Emplead didn't deserve his MVP, pure stat padder or he'd be able to carry his team in the playoffs when defenses slow down the game.

    Jokic is the first one in the gym, and works out before his pressers after games. It takes effort and commitment to be the best, Jokic still watches old tape from Serbian coaches and is a true student of the game.

  6. Jokić and Embiid are not even close. Jokić is professional, he maybe loves horses and I never read anywhere that he was late for practice, I never saw him not care about the game. And like we all know, Jokić takes care of himself which means he's ready to play almost always.

  7. There was a time where people thought embiid and jokic are on the same level 😂😂 atleast that will stop, jokic just better

  8. why is everybody suddenly doing the “goat” channel format … check it out guys ..

  9. At this point, who cares? Focus on the guys who are out there on game nights competing. Embiid is a stiff. It’s either his knee or laziness. There’s always an excuse with this guy when it comes to playing.

  10. Someone said joel recently flopped from the free throw line, i gotta see that if it's true 😅😅😂😂

  11. Funny how everybody calls Joel selfish for playing in the OLYMPICS which is the ultimate honor of patriotism. He could have played for France and they probably would have won gold. If he didn’t play for Team USA, we wouldn’t have beat Jokic and Serbia but go off 😴

  13. Shaq's comment completely ignores the fact Embiid was repeatedly injured by the time the playoffs rolled around. Yet another ignorant comment.

  14. This Embiid drama is one of the few instances where an organization is really trying to be competent by building around their star and it somehow still doesn't benefit them. Usually it's the other way around, where a star player on a team is frustrated because they do not have talent surrounding him. Embiid might really be the worst star we've ever seen, the Sixers organization has become like a hardworking parent who spoon feeds a spoiled kid.
